This kidney dissection lab is a great no-prep activity for Biology and Anatomy students to learn about the anatomy and physiology of the kidney. Dissection instructions, student lab worksheets, and diagrams are all included.

*The only materials required are kidneys (sheep or bovine) and a scalpel. Dissection pins may be helpful for identification of structures, but are not required.

The student pages of this lab are included in a digital format for students to use on devices in Google Classroom or or any other online platforms that use Google Slides. The dissection is available by video demonstration for absent students or those that can not dissect.
