➤What topics are included in this unit?
- Identifying chemical changes
- Writing chemical reactions (writing formulas was already addressed in Unit 4)
- Balancing chemical equations
- Law of Conservation of Mass
- Types of chemical reactions (synthesis, decomposition, single-replacement, double-replacement, combustion)
- Predicting products of chemical reactions
The unit is aligned to NGSS practices and many state standards. If you’d like to know whether your state standards are covered, you can send me an email at su*****@*************ce.com.
➤What textbook can I use with this unit?
This unit is comprehensive enough to stand on its own without a textbook. If you prefer to use one, you can contact me for textbook suggestions at su*****@*************ce.com.
➤Can I edit these resources to fit my needs?
Some of the files in this unit are editable. The text on the PowerPoints, Cornell Notes, and task cards is all editable so you can adjust the level of content and wording. The pacing guide, some practice pages, quizzes, and tests are all fully editable.
