Description
These gas laws lab stations help your Chemistry students apply simple gas laws to real-life examples and phenomena! Each of the eight stations uses visuals and demonstrations to show the incredible relationships among temperature, volume, and pressure using explanations of kinetic energy and the kinetic molecular model.
This lab is also part of my Full Chemistry Curriculum.
Included in this resource:
- Teacher instructions & materials list (see preview for necessary materials)
- 8 visually-appealing station cards
- Student worksheets for recording observations and answers to calculations
- Answer keys

*This activity requires previous knowledge of the relationships among pressure, volume, and temperature. If your students don’t have a solid foundation in kinetic molecular theory or simple gas laws yet, you may want to consider purchasing the Unit 9- Gas Laws& Kinetic Molecular Theory unit instead. It includes this activity, along with PowerPoint slides, guided notes, practice pages, and assessments.
Topics:
- Relationships among temperature, volume, and pressure of a gas
- Kinetic energy
- Kinetic molecular theory
- Charles’ Law calculations
- Boyle’s Law calculations
- Gay-Lussac’s Law calculations
